Who we are
This website is operated by GUREN Design. For data processed in Türkiye the data controller is GUREN Mühendislik A.Ş., İsmet İnönü Cad. No:11/501, 34413 Kağıthane, İstanbul. What we collect
We only collect what you send us through the enquiry form or by email:
- Name and, optionally, company or vessel name
- Email address
- Scope of work selected and the content of your message
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal if you ask for one, and keep a record of our correspondence. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (KVKK Art. 5/2-c and 5/2-f; GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)).
Who receives it
Form submissions are delivered as email to info@gurendesign.com. Our website hosting (Hostinger) and business email (Microsoft 365) providers process this data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside Türkiye; such transfers are made in line with KVKK Art. 9 and applicable safeguards. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
Cookies and third parties
The site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within two years. Correspondence related to a commission is kept for as long as required by commercial and tax law.
Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 and the GDPR you may ask whether we process your data, request a copy, correction or deletion, object to processing, and ask who your data was shared with. Send requests to info@gurendesign.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
